both my mom and sister got married in begas...both times the license took 20 minutes or less. my sister just got married 9 months ago, and my mom just got married 4 days ago, so my info is current....the license place is open 24 regardless of the day.

my sister in law is an ordained minister and performed both ceremonies.

one was at the top of the stratosphere at dusk and it was awesome! plus we got some great pic's after dusk with the whole city lit up in the background.

the other was in the bellagio conservatory, which was very pretty too. there were many places for great photo opportunites.

the flamingo also a very nice place, with wildlife and waterfalls, but it is more out in the open, and more gatherers. just a few ideas to consider if you don't already have everything all settled.

oh.......for a reception dinner, we went to hugo's inside the 4 queens. it was phenominal! the ladies are treated like queens, each receive a rose at the door, and they get to order everything first even drinks, and you are ma'am or sir the whole time. the prices are very respectable, and the food was FANTASTIC, even the salad portion!! their menu has a wide variety to choose from, and you pretty much get your own personal waiter who is on top of whatever you may want. they have a seperate room off to the side for privacy or to accomodate a large party. the bride and groom receive a complimentary dessert, and everyone gets complimentary choc dipped fruit with whipped cream. i cannot say enough good things about that place. you can look up thier info online, and get an idea of menu and such. if you decide to go with them, i suggest you make a reservation, so you can get the larger room set aside for you.

good luck and i hope you have a blast on your special day!!

It only takes 5 minutes to a half hour to get your license in Vegas, depending on the length of the line.

Give it a couple of days. On Friday and Saturday nights the license is open 24 hours. However, there will be queues generally any time that you get there so you need to give yourself some time in case something else happens.
