Is it by works or by faith? Will they seek atonement by self effort or by works?

They will do what most other religions do, understand what was true to begin with. No man made religion has the answer that we know of however they all think they do. I guess we'll all find out.

what is the day of atonement? When 'everyone' stands in the presence of God? Now this is after either (dying and going to heaven or hell) or still living and being where-ever during the rapture right? how many of us really believe that our own selective process for deciding value among God's Children or even better God's Creations, was the motivation of Creator's plan when He created Life? ...I guess that answer would help the rest of us find out just what the person asked Really thinks about just what life is, but that's a whole 'nother topic right there... Whell here's my answer - God is before us now, because He never moves if He is Everywhere. I guess the satanist would stop expending so much energy denying his own existance.

Wow, interesting question. Though not a Satanist, my reading of the Bible through searches on the topic indicates that Satan has not committed any offense that could be considered a felony. It is interesting the the authors of the Bible did not make up a more horrific villain, a more terrible antagonist. God and his henchmen have done some evil and disgusting things. The Bible documents their evils clearly and graphically. Furthermore, after the Council of Nicaea, it is clearly documented by both Christian and Muslim historians that the Crusaders ate the flesh of dead Muslims after the fall of one of the larger fortified cities.
More wars have been committed by bigots in the name of god than any other cause but the latent reason is really greed.
Faith is belief in the really stupid for no good reason other than the priest told them so and scared the hell out of them.
Give me men of good works any day and to hell with men of faith who butt hump children and email Congressional pages. All in good faith of course.

The day of atonement?
If you mean when they are judged, than nothing.
They will receive their just reward-good or bad.
But, it will be an ETERNAL JUDGEMENT.

methinks if a satanist gives a flying rats behind about atonement, they aren't being a very good satanist.

on the day of atonement, is it not too late to seek God and His grace? they will probably regret all they have done and quake in fear and darkness. too late to turn then, i think,

They will join their master in bowing to Jesus Christ and confessing that Jesus is Lord.

Neither. Their "salvation" is in Satan...

But, like everyone, "Every knee shall bow..."
