Absolutely not. My grandmother graduated from a university with a BA in teaching at the age of 68 years old. She told me that one thing I should learn is that you are never too OLD to learn. You might close your mind to learning, however, you are still never too OLD to learn! Go back to school. Do something you want. Don't listen to anyone else if you have the passion. I do wish you luck and I bet there are a lot of people that wished like heck that they had not wasted time on a junk job and had gone back to school at any age. GOOD LUCK. GOOD LEARNING!!!

It is right time , perhaps. The maturity and experience that comes with this age would help to gain ALL the advantages of schooling, now, knowing the importance of literacy/education, whereas at the younger age, it is more teacher(his skill) dependent because of lack of a child's ability to self-realise the importance at that tender age !

It's never too late. People in their 80's still go to school. You will get old anyway so why not be smart while you age?

It is never too late to continue your education. The longer you wait, the more you will put it off. If you want to go back, just do it. Good luck.

Absolutely not! In many of my classes there have been at least two people over the age of 35. They're always fun to have in class because they have a different perspective on things than the rest of us. Like how in my anthropology class we had one First Nations woman studying with us who was from the generation when Canada still took native kids from their parents and sent them to residential schools. It was amazing to be able to hear her perspective.
Good luck in your studies!

Only if you're talking about high school.Unless you plan on getting your GED.Then there's no age restriction.I got mine when I was 24.
There are many higher education programs these days aimed at the working adult.I've inquired into a few myself (I'm 36) ,but haven't found any that relate to my career field.

No, I remember seeing a man in his 70's in some classes and he wasn't an instructor. He was retired and decided he wanted to go back to school. My engineering instructors always advised us to persue a lifelong education. Especially in high tech jobs, you have to continually learn new thing or you get left behind.
