looking girl who is not a bar hopper and has been waiting for mr right? why guys prefer the ones that smell like cigarettes all the darn time and look like theyre 30 years over their age?when they can have someone who is clean and looks their age if not younger.why say youre pretty and i like you but cant be with you like that because i rather be with a drunk chick?this is all ridiculous to me.i feel i dont have to drnk or smoke anything to impress anybody. but for some rason every time a guy aproaches me they freak out when they ask to buy me a drink and i say no thank you i dont drink.or they offer me a smoke and i say no thank you i dont smoke.and is like i always thought guys liked girls that were clean and always smelled good all the time. but it looks like the ones who like that dont live in my town.i love going out and have fun, but i just dont drink or smoke.is it that bad?i have no plans on starting.but im just wondering whats up with all that.

i dont hang out at bars. 75% of the time is when im walking at the mall or anywhere and the other at the movies.

I don't know what kind of guys live in your town. Do you live in Seattle or something? You can't pick up a decent guy in a bar, you sound like the type of girl that has turned down plenty of nice guys and then wonder why you're not dating one. Both guys and girls want someone that will appreciate them and treat them nice, but the funny thing is they're not willing to do the same thing for the other person. Sorry to say that from what you described you're the problem in your situation. Why are you upset that the other guys are choosing drunk dirty skanks, is this the type of guy you want anyway? Stop looking and go with the flow you will find someone eventually, and give the nice guy a chance.

your problem is this: You're looking for love in friggin bars and clubs!
TYpically men go to these places and that's what they're looking for............to get laid. These are the women who put out those "ill screw you tonight" vibes. They dress in slutty clothes, accept drinks without returning the favor, and just plain out make themselves available.
Be proud you're not like that. You are going to the wrong clubs.
Try the more classier places with a slightly older crowd or dont expect to find Mr right at all. At least not when your out in the night life.
Men assume they need to get a woman drunk so they can get down her pants. Im not saying this rudely, Im explaining that the minute you refuse the drink they think you're not looking to meet anyone or you're not interested, OR a prude.

I feel you are focused on the "not drinking and not smoking". You should be thankful now days a man wants to buy you a drink for a women. Why don't you order a virgin drink and smile big and say thank you. The men love that virgin word. If he says anything about it, say I thought men love virgins. He will not say a word about your not smoking and drinking, or he will think about the virgin word. Either way you win.

Bars are where people who like to drink and smoke hang out. If you don't like that activity or the people who do, stop going to bars. Find other places to meet people who have the same interests and lifestyle that you do.

part of the problem is what guys are taught to look for. the other part is what women are taught to look for. if you don't drink or smoke, why hang out at places where such behavior is common and hope some guy will hit on you? and then act surprised when the situation doesn't measure up to your fantasies. it's all about the fantasy.

Just remember the sluts just get used until guys get what they want. Usually lasts no longer than an hour. If that is something to be jealous of, you aren't paying attention. Hold out for something meaningful and you will be so much richer.

Hey girl, I don't know how old you are, but I'm the same as you and I'm 19. Guys tell me "oh you are beautiful.." but it never goes anywhere from there b/c I don't put out, get smashed or high on anything. It makes me wonder too......so guys please answer.
But, my advice would just to be to continue to enjoy life and pray to God that He brings that special guy into your life. God has a plan for you, continue to stand strong and believe in yourself and God bless you! :)

couldn't tell you. girls do almost the same thing though. they seem to go after the bad boy orwhatever. then the good guys who are in church seeking god, clean and sober are overlooked. i see it everyday. people get overlooked, plain and simple. then you get the " don't worry there;s a girl out there for you" speech. im 31 years old i'm beginning tothink that girl is alive anymore.
