Yep, that comes from the "olden days" when hot water was at a premium OR a lot of bother to get or when rooms were cold from not heat. . It works but your hair won't shine. You also have to brush it so it doesn't show.

Talcum powder is called Baby powder..
And it can cause health problems if you inhale it.. so try not to make a mess and get tons of powder in the air...
You don't need a lot.. just a little bit at your roots and then comb it through..
it works..

Yup. i exploit it while tenting.. nicely no I ought to make sparkling. i don't use talcum powder.. i exploit tinted and scented talcum powder so its not as evident (white powdery hair in case you employ too plenty). i bought it from "open sundays" which i think of has actual long previous out of corporation however the main message right here is confident it is going to take in extra oils for a short quantity of time in case you need to flow out for somewhat in the previous you bathe. bear in mind that like face powder, it ought to reason your scalp to freak out and convey extra oil... you cant use it in lieu of showering for an prolonged time.

Talcum powder for your hair? It's white and very fine. Some baby powder has talc in it. Corn starch will do the same.
People use to use cornmeal in their hair. I wouldn't use but a pinch. We use to use cornmeal on the old folks who couldn't be bathed and needed their hair to be less oily.
Practice with it first before actually using it in a hurry.

Have you tried a health food store? And the only thing I can see it causing is a dandruff-like appearance. And when it comes to hair, you could perhaps try plain oatmeal. Just massage it into your hair and comb it out(it is a short cut to washing hair). But ultimately, just washing your hair and using minimal hair conditioner might help reduce the greasiness of your hair. I hope that helps. (And, no offense, you might be over using conditioner. The leave in conditioner isn't the best thing to use on greasy hair.)

Health stores! Or specialty gift shops. And I believe that they don't cause any health problems. People have been using talcum powder as an antiperspirant because scented antiperspirant causes some sort cancer later.

You can find it in the baby aisle of any drug store or places like Target, Walmart or grocery stores. Sometimes it has corstarch in it, which is ok too.
