dont be a pussy, wear your regular clothes and have fun. I thought it would hurt on my first time. But it didn't. As long you duck and shoot people, and have fun.

I play paintball every weekend. Let me tell you, it really doesn't hurt that bad. My friend had his finger less that an inch away from the barrel of my ion and it went off because hes dumb and picked it up by the trigger frame. He just went OWWWWW, did a little dance like he hit his hand with a hammer and said it went numb. Now that is the WORST a paintball will ever hurt. I've been shot dead in the chest from an A-5 shooting hot (310 FPS I think it was) at 15 feet wearing only skin tight, thin Under Armor heat gear. Yeah, I had giant, scabbed welts, but when you have that much adrenaline pumping through you, you seriously do not feel it that much. I've been shot in the throat, mouth, ***, fingernail, top of the head. Yeah, I've taken a shot to the genitals, but the paintball pants I have are padded there, thank God. Wear a cup when you go. If not, place you paintball pods in the front instead of the back. Trust me, you may end up thanking me. I was also shot on bare skin by that same hot A-5. Seriously, it's not that bad. I've played in shorts and a t-shirt. But I can remember the first time I played. I had a sweatshirt with a long sleeve shirt on underneith and jeans and a hat and everything. It just isn't comfortable to run around in all that gear. And when temperatures rise in the summer, good luck. After my first time debacle, I would suggest baggy, light pants and maybe a big long sleeved shirt. I find long sleeve shirts work well because if it's hot, you just roll them up. Maybe a real light zip-up hoodie if its chilly or you're really worried about the pain. The pain is comparable to someone flicking you really hard. You'll be fine. The less you worry about it and the more you get into the game, the less it will hurt. They say you've moved on in paintball when you start running around on the field and not hiding behind cover all day, or when you stop caring about getting shot and start caring about helping out your team. Of course, you'll learn all of this when you get out there. Have fun, it truely is the most adrenaline pumping activity I've ever participated in.

Okay. I'm going to be COMPLETLY HONEST with you. When I first went paintballing it stung... A lot. But that was only for the first few seconds, then it just got a little achy. Nothing to bad. Just wear a long sleeve shirt and some baggy pants, and don't worry about it. I hope you enjoy paintballing as much as I do!!

ok paintballs do hurt but as long as you wear padding and a face mask you will be fine and if you play in cold weather watch out because it will sting like heck if one of those cold paintballs hits you and the pain is more of a sting but like I said make sure you have all the padding you think you will need because you will be the only one who knows what will work for you

A face mask and something to protect your neck are a must. We've taken hits on bare chest or back that have bled, but in the heat of the moment you barely feel it. The next day is another story. As long as the face and neck are protected, everything else will heal just fine.
Have fun and be safe

It depends on the temperature outside.
Regardless of temperature, all skin should be covered. Pants, long sleeves, GLOVES!, something on your neck in case somebody gets stupid. MASK
If it is cold outside - wear layers, cold paintballs hurt like heck!

Thick, neck-to-ankle underwear (weather permitting) under full body camo. Steel toe boots. Neck protection. Hat with flaps that fits under the helmet/visor hood they give you, to cover your ears and back of head.
Any sports padding you've got that you doesn't restrict your movement.
It'll still sting when you get hit, but not so much.
Have fun!

well depending on how high the guns are turned up i would be like getting punched in the arm. and with the adrenaline going you will barely feel it. honestly hurts more when you hit your knuckles turning a wrench. just make sure you wear kinda baggy clothes and they will absorb most of it.
