I have noticed that most people who are angry, are actually afraid or their anger stems from a fear.. What other observations like this have you made? Is there a good website or text for researching this type of correlation..

Anger is a secondary emotion. That means it can't exist by itself. It is a response to another emotion. I think anger is an expression of all sorts of pent up emotions. Depending on the individual, it could be fear. People who are generally angry are usually pretty bad at expressing their emotion besides anger. I'm sure there's plenty of information and studies available on this. Look on google or just go to your local library or university library and ask them about online databases.

I do not know about a website but that is a very good observation on your part! I think that a lot of people who carry around incessant anger have a deep seated fear of it also...why do I say that? My late father was at heart a very angry man but also a very fearful man...and I think both went hand in hand with him...thank you...

If you can access a school's library data base, psychinfo would have a lot of research on this type of thing.

I don't know, but when I'm very angry I take it out on myself, not others because I'm too scared.
