Could I ask for a small prayer tomorrow? I have recently had to accept some changes in my life and tomorrow will be one of my not so great days due to certain medical treatments. As selfish as this may sound could I ask believers to please pray that I may better adjust to what God has sent to me? Thanks and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

Thank you for all prayers and well wishes but it seems selfish for me to request prayer when there are so many with worse problems out there. I just feel the need for strength.

Thomas thank you! Tomorrow during dialysis I will indeed pray for Rita and continue to do so. Of course! I can use these times to pray for those who need it more.

Grace and peace to you Debra from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. My prayer is that you may know that only good and perfect gifts come from above ... that you may come to an understanding that the devil is a liar ... God did not send "certain medical" issues needing treatments! He loves you! The truth is the enemy sent those things ... so fight back with all the love for God you can. And during each second of those treatments give God glory! It a choice to fight by belieiving He loves you!

Nothing selfish about asking for prayer. I will be lifting you up in prayer tonight and also praying for you tomorrow. May the Lord bless and keep you! May He make His face shine on you. May He send His angels to minister to you and strengthen you. God bless you, Debra!

You are in my prayers.

It is not selfish to ask for prayers. It takes wisdom to know that you have needs that can only be addressed though the prayers of the Body of Christ. It is similar to the "fear of the Lord" - the knowledge and understanding that all we are and all we have is because of the grace of God.

To ask for prayers of others is to recognize that God works not only through you, but through others, even those who do not follow the same path that we follow.

I too have had to accept several changes in my life over the last two years. I have good days and bad days; but what keeps me going is my faith in God. There is NO problem to big for God and also, through HIS stripes we are healed. You could say, through His stripes Debra is healed!!!!! It is so easy to get discouraged and to doubt; but that is when Satan is working on us. Someone told me this and I say it all the time. "When you hear doubt, fear, etc. that is Satan knocking at your door.....Ask God to get that for you" Keep your faith on God and believe! You are in my prayers and God bless!

Father God I thank you for Debra and I thank you for the oppertunity you have given me to pray for this precious child of yours Father Debra is walking through a dark valley in her life and she needs you to pick her up and carry her through it. Father I don't know the details of her affliction but I speak directly to the problem and cast it out in the name Jesus. Father I ask that you wrap your loving arms around her and give her a big ol hug and just love all over her. Lord she is so special in Your kingdom and I thank you for her. Lord whatever tomorrow may hold for her I ask that You be there for her. Father we know that You are our healer and that You do not cause affliction but You allow us to endure it. Father let my sister know that when this is all done and over she will be a better person that this is just one of lifes lessons we must endure. Thank You Lord for all You do and all You are for us. In Jesus Name I Pray........AMEN

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change...
Courage to change the things I can and the Wisdom to know the difference...
Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it.
Trust that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will.
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.
Amen

You're in my prayers Debra. We're all one in the body of Christ, so it's not selfish to ask for prayers because that's what we're all here for.
