No. It depends what you argue about. As with Job it may result in God giving you a fresh revelation so that you understand Him or your situation better. In any case, what child does not argue with their father? And how better to gain understanding over something which troubles you?
The Rabbinical schools taught that you gained wisdom from argument, provided it is reasoned and not on futile points. If two people take opposing views and each try to convince the other, both may learn.
ADDENDUM:
Sometimes you can change God's mind. When God was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham persuaded Him not to if there was just one righteous man there. Moses also persuaded God not to destroy the rebellious Israelites. There are many other examples.

I suggest you read the entire Book of Job - start to finish. You'll see that there isn't really a simple yes and no answer for you. Certainly God rebukes Job for thinking that he can even know why he has been afflicted - God strongly makes the case that arguing with him is futile. He tells Job, "Who is this that obscures divine plans with words of ignorance?" (38:2)
But at the same time, God easily forgives Job his moroseness, and does not even seem that angry with him. I think God understands that life on Earth can be very hard for us, and that we may question him from time to time. We try to avoid it, but we can't always.
Again - all I can say is read Job all the way through. You'll gain a lot of insight on both human suffering and the urge to argue with God about it, as well as his response to our questioning.

you see...when placing this question did you only wonder about the answer or did you have any sort of experience like this. have you argued with God...and if so...wouldnt that prove his true deity? He is real and arguing with GOD isnt too good on your part. what He does is for you. He loves you too much to hurt you and if you listen to Him....you will find peace, love, joy.....believe in Him.

You may argue with God. Then God is judgement, means you get what you deserves.

Besides Job, there were others that also argued with God. It is futile though. He knows what is best for us.

Arguing with an imaginary being is a waste of time.

*smile* I think I would use the word futile. Look at the book of Job...towards the end of it, he questions why God brought upon him the trials He did. God responds with about three pages of questions.

No, he encourages it. He wants you to question life until you have remembered exactly who you are - A being of Pure Light and Love - A part of Him.
