are you babysitting?...Have the parents tell little cousin that you are in charge, and if they misbehave, they will lose privilages. (what is important to them right now: cartoons, games, etc)

If they are young they won't listen just like you probably didn't listen today to someone. That's how kids are. So, if you are supposed to be watching them and you are on the computer you need to get off and do what you were told to do in the first place. Play a game, read a book but get off here.

Now this something I have experience with. You just have to act more like an athority towards them. So that they will respect you. But also be nice at the same time and offer them rewards .

sit him down in a chair then tie him to the chair so he cant run and talk then after the talking is done let him go make sure that you dont tie him down too strong .

Be calm when talking to them,use a soft voice. & talk in a way that they can understand, no big fancy words ,or swearing. DOn't scare them.

sit them down and tell them that if they are good and listen you will do something special for them. like give them candy or take them somewhere or somthing like that
