she is a weiner dog i think this started today she has been under my bed all day and she wont stop whinning. when you get her out and pet her she still wont stop whinning and u put her down and she goes back under my bed. it feels and looks like he boobs are getting a little saggy and when u pinch them this liquid comes out i don't know if it's milk. She is breathing hard and if she if pregnant I don't know how because we have a male dog but he is fixed. at least i think cuz he doesn't have any balls. Unless she was preg. before we got her we found her and that was like three months ago so she should have already been showing.

If she were already pregnant when you found her 3 months (12-13 weeks) ago, the pups would have already been born by now. The gestation period is generally 63 days....9 weeks.

If she was in heat recently (about 5-7 weeks ago), she could indeed be going through a hormonal process called pseudocyesis....false pregnancy. They'll look and act exactly like they're pregnant...but the 'false' pregnancy doesn't last as long as a real pregnancy. They'll even go through very convincing 'labor' symptoms, then start looking for/whining about nonexistent puppies. (One of my own dogs actually went so far as to 'nurse' a couple of her stuffed animal toys, and bring them to me, whining.) She might have a uterine infection called pyometra (a true emergency.) She might actually BE pregnant/going into labor if you got your dates wrong. She might have other physical problems. Being a dachshund, a problem with her spine is always a possibility and should be considered anytime there is unexplained whining/hiding.

Bottom line...there are many things that could be wrong with your dog. Some minor. Some major. There's no sense in guessing. An examination by a DVM will give you your answer....putting your mind at ease if it's something minor, and possibly saving her life if it's something serious.

(P.S. Please don't pinch her breasts anymore. You could cause mastitis.)

Has she been in heat while you have had her? Does she stay outside sometimes by herself? Maybe a male dog came around when you did not know it. It sure sounds like she is in labor. You could take her to the vet and have her checked.

It only takes 2 months for dogs to have pups. So she could not have been pregnant when you found her or she would have had the pups already.

Sounds like a report to the Vet is in order. Just because milk comes out when you squeeze her teet does not mean that she is pregnant (why did you do that anyway?). It does sound like that she is is labor and trying to find a quiet place to have puppies though. Just because your other dog does not have testicles doesn't mean that another dog did not get her pregnant or like you said she may have been pregnant when you got her. If she is not pregnant something is hurting her. Sounds pregnant!

dogs balls...the puppy's self-nicely worth? Ha! The damn issues are plastic and the animal gets no earnings from having them in his scrotum. The vet offered you a bill of goods so he would desire to earnings on your lack of awareness. And if it became into your thought to have them implanted he would desire to have tried to dissuade you. dogs (fantastically doggies) have not got any inkling of what surpassed off interior the vet's workplace different than he fell asleep and has some soreness down by potential of his penis. yet he does sense much less aggressive and now the mutt around the line would not seem a great style of a probability to him. circulate to him and function the dogs taken care of for the inflammation and swelling, in case you nonetheless have confidence him. solid success J

Sounds like she is pregnant and ready to deliver, she may only be carrying one or two. Then again she may have something serious so if she does not have any pups within the next 24 hours take her to the vet immediately.

Sounds like she is pregnant and if she is acting like that, it wont be long and you will definately know. If she doesnt have pups by the next morning then I would get her to the vet. She could be pregnant with pups that are too big for her to have and that could be why she is whining and panting so much.

It sounds like a false pregnancy, possibly accompanied by a uterine infection called pyometra,in which the uterus fills with pus.It is fatal if not treated, usually with emergency surgery(spay)and antibiotics. You should call your vet right away.

my friends dog had a false pregnancy, but she never had labor symptoms..so i would say take her to the vet. she could have gotten pregnant by too big of a dog and that could be causing her pain. poor little thing, definitely go to the vet.

Definitely sounds preg to me...or sometimes dogs have "false pregnancies" and have all the symptoms. Best bet...see your vet
