The trip is paid by me...i live with my parents because they wont allow me to move out until i marry...which i get an earful from my friends due to the fact im 21 and help pay for the house too half my pay every 2 weeks...i have a right...but in these circumstances.. she is the boss there is no getting around her. she just keeps saying no.....what could it be?

I think you should try talking to them and tell them how you truely feel. Tell them how bad that makes you feel and you're old enough. They might feel bad and realise that they're making you unhappy. Also, it is legal to move out when you're 21. You could just move out but that will make them angry i guess. Good luck

If you earn money, you're 21, you can move out whenever you like. Your parents have no hold on you at all.

Time to cut the apron strings and move away from mummy.

It is time to grow some balls, so to speak.

They can't stop you movimg out. You are an adult, and can obviously support yourself, so tell them to get stuffed, find a flat with your boyfriend, and tell them you were married at a registrar's office.
Then go on holidy to Thailand with your boyfriend and let the control freaks go their own way.
