Ok I'm in a long distance relationship with this guy who lives 2 hours away from me. I love him very much but I'm just not feeling the relationship like i did when we first started dating. I mean i've only seen him twice and i'm always the one who has to go to him. We both don't have cars but i at laest have my best friend to drive me up there but it just seems everytime he wants to see me he wants me to go up there and i'm getting sick of having to make my friend take me to see him. He also doesn't have a phone and sometimes he either doesn't call me all day or he'll tell me he'll call me back on his friends or sisters phone and doesn't which gets me frustrated cuz here i am waiting on him to call and he doesn't. So how can i break up with him without hurting his feelings and hoping to maintain a friendship with him.

I'd call him up and just tell him the truth, that the long distance thing isn't working out for you. You really can't break up with someone without hurting their feelings, but I'd suggest that instead of trying to be friends (because to me, usually when the relationship ends, so does the friendship - I mean, the two aren't really separate), try not to be enemies. Good luck!

Tell him the truth, either my phone, in person or by mail. Tell him that the distance thing isn't working out and you would like to date someone who lives closer but tell him that you still want to be friends.

Maintaining the friendship will still be difficult with the same obsticles you have with the relationship (distance, lack of transport, lack of communication) etc.

Tell him your friend either got tired of driving you/moved away/wrecked her car and you can't get to his city any more but if you happen to be in the area some time you will call, but in the meantime you think you should both start dating other people. He sounds like a loser if he can't make the time to call you or the effort to go to your city.

The whole thing sounds fishy to me. He doesn't have a car and he doesn't have a phone. Who the hell doesn't have a phone? I'll bet this character is married or living with someone and you are too naive to figure it out.
Just tell him you met someone else and he is free to go back to whatever he is really doing.

Just stop calling ,texting, e-mailing, etc. he will get the idea. Chances are he already has someone anyway or else he would move heaven and earth to see you. I am a guy I know, good luck.

You just have to tell him! Don't keep him hanging on to something that is not there.
