But they are told they will have endless reward in heaven. Heaven is a paradise with all your needs and wants fulfilled. They get used to that idea and they can't wait to blow their bodies to bits to get there!

Oh my dearest Paul, children who live in an environment where they witness the oppression of their nation, the exploitation of their neighbours, the ridicule of their relgion and culture and the abuse of their parents. Often these children grow up with a complex of isolation and no means of equalising their situation. They have been robbed of their future and their dreams and the person who has no dreams had better off be dead. I would suggest that you find a copy of the Israeli film, 'Arna's children.' This is a chilling and touching expose on the lives of Palestinian children in the occupied territories. It is a sad story and will give you some insight into a childhood of utter hopelessness.

It takes a life time, of making people act the way they do.
Children at a small age, you know this believe anything a adult tells you.
Even that
If you die killing off sinners, you would be doing God a favor, and he will open his arms and take you in, when he does your reward is greater then anyone, cause you killed in the name of God.
Just like you tell your children "Don't play with matches" except for the 4th of July.
Or don't take candy from strangers, "then on one night of the year you help them go door to door, and ask for candy?
Who cares, children listen to adults, and believe everything they are told, so when they grow up. they still believe,
That's why the Bible says train up a child in the way he should be then when he is grown he will not depart from it.
Its all in how you train up a child.

Very early, brainwashing. Teaching, or rather, harassing and convincing to your mind that this is what you do, and this is why you do it, and if you don't comply, they make you feel threatening or scared. If you do not believe this way, you will be punished by God or whomever Ala is. The radical Catholics out there do it to their children.I know because that is what was done to me with in that religion. I chose to be pagan now and I was disowned by my family altogether for not being the Catholic girl they sent to Catholic school. I am a demon of some sort according to them.

People are complicated, and their motivations are complex. It may be over simplistic to think they all have the same sort of motivation. That they do something as serious as taking their own lives and killing many others may not be stupid. It would seem such behavior would indicate a great sense of desperation. It seems to me Totalitarian institutions emphasize hating those that are demonized. Showing them hate is not likely to convince them that hate is wrong. By showing compassion, perhaps they may take a moment to be compassionate towards their victims. I think our policy should be to try to be the kind of people that no one would hate, then trying to kill all those who would hate us. The more we kill, the more they will hate.

In some Muslim states, children have been indoctrinated at a very tender age to hate non Muslims and to give their life to suicide,,,in the name of Allah.
Muslims who strap on bombs in terrorist acts may well believe that they are doing the right thing.
There will be hell to pay when God judges the wicked indoctrinators.

I don't know which religion you profess (and even if its spelled like that), but they believe (are not told) that Allah will grant them Heaven automatically for giving their life because of him. It's a very serious thing.
Now for the literal part of your question, maybe they're told as children: Do you remember your eldest brother? He's in Heaven now, he exploded in a bus full of old Israelis. Why aren't you more like him?

you know paul it may sound very disturbing but quite a few of the suicide bombers are those whose family members were raped and killed in cold blood when they were unarmed, innocent elderly, women and kids. when one loses all he had in his life, he does not find it wrong to take a few of whom he thinks of as bad guys. I do not support suicide bombing, but I feel bad when I see people being killed by the western forces and these are the people who create suicide bombers in a significant percentage, peace

Tell that to every Roman persecuted Christian martyr. Tell that to Tibetan monks who were persecuted during the Communist invasion of Tibet. Self sacrifice is the greatest of all acts that can be done for a deity.

They believe that if you die by killing others that are not in that your religion that you get to go to heaven. So after living a sinful life... why not just blow yourself up if thats the only way to get into heaven.
