It is hard to describe, and I am not entirely sure I am supposed to. God works in your life in very personal ways - ways entirely appropriate to you. You will know, and you will feel loved, blessed, and warm. I should not be more specific.

I just don't think any of us should give you expectations to be met. You might then feel that these described experiences have to happen in a similar way for you. And the fact is, God's involvement in your life just might not be like other peoples'.

A friend of my wife had a female Cockatiel that she had named Angel. She was very friendly and docile. She was in her cage next to where I sat when I came home and watched TV. She would often show her wings when I was sitting there. I had thought that she was just stretching. But, her friend said that that was a mating gesture. She eventually laid some eggs on the bottom of her cage. My wife set her up with her fathers male Cockatiel which was real mean. They eventually did mate but she never really liked him and if she could talk she would have screamed to get her away from the bastard. She died one day flying into a window and all I could think of was that her spirit just kept flying right through the window. It makes you wonder anyway how an angel might appear to you or live in your home. This isn't necessarily looking like one but sometimes it can feel that way.

I am very, very skeptical of angelic encounters, (or any other kind of supernatural encounter for that matter).

HOWEVER...I have shaken hands with two persons, on two separate occasions....in dreams...with people who were recently deceased. The first was a friend of mine, and the second was my grandfather. No conversation or words; just a nod and a handshake as if to say "so long".

'Pretty moving stuff when you just wake up. 'Food for thought.

I don't know if this counts but, it was halloween and across the road I saw what looked like my friend dressed up as an angel telling me to come over so I went over to say hi under the streetlight then halfway to him... He just... Well... VANISHED completely. He didn't run away or anything... VANISHED! The next day he says he was home all night with a lot of halloween party people backing him up.

Somewhat although I didn't see him.

I was driving down a side street lighting a cigarette (I know, I'm trying to quit) and looking down because traffic on side streets aren't usually busy. Well, I looked up and someone was backing out of their driveway and didn't see me coming. all of a sudden something grabbed my arm that was resting on the steering wheel and turned it for me! I missed the car by inches and swerved right back into place with no damage or nothing. True story!

When I was young I was out on the street. I lived a very hard life. Then one day a woman rescued me and brought me to a safe place. She cleaned me up and gave me back my pride. I will always believe that she is an angel and I hope to see her again one day up in heaven.

In 1970 my husband had a hunting accident and ended up in surgery to have his leg amputated. No one was at the hospital with me while I waited for surgery to be over because BIG snowstorm closed highways. I was feeling pretty scared and alone. Then this guy showed up. Said he was friend of my husband, and name was David. He was so nice, and VERY handsome, but didn't see him in sexy way, sort of like he looked perfect. Anyhow, black hair, black eyes, perfect features, med. build, very articulate, and I remember thinking, how odd that this man is friend of my husband, who was kind of a blighter. Anyhow, he stayed with me during surgery and was such a comfort. When they brought my husband back, in stir to get him back into his hospital bed, suddenly realized David was gone. Asked husband about him later, and he had no clue who it was. I asked nurses, who saw me sitting on couch in waiting area, but no one, and I mean NO ONE saw David but me...was I crazy or was he an angel? I couldn't remember much he said, just the feeling of warmth and peace I had talking to him...

You have to be careful about this, as Jesus said that Satan can appear as an Angel of Light. The fallen angels are still angels in basic form.

No...Angels are instruments of God, and would only be sent to human beings for a divine purpose.

I have once. He was about 7' and dark-skinned, with a brightly glowing aura about him, especially around his head (like a halo). His name is Lotus, and basically only came to check up on me. o_0 I don't really understand it, even to this day, but according to Lotus, I will.
