Well, First of all get married & plan to have a child in a way that it should born on the Raksha Bandhan Day, LOL! There's no perfect way to give birth to a child on a particular day but still you can try. If not that then you have to cheat your parents & other elders by celebrating Raksha Bandhan in a way that your elders won't come to know about it, what else!

Why are they weird? That's kind of a narrow minded statement you made. Hindu festivals that last 10 days are weird but "The 12 Days of Christmas" isn't?

Perhaps they're still clinging to the ancient customs and traits. Such festivals and other rituals might have been useful in those days when people had pretty little to do other than earning the livelihood.

Some people think religion should be about having fun. It isn't just Hindus. No religion is better than bad religion, and the only way to have true lasting joy is by accepting Jesus Christ as Savior. Hindus don't do that so they make lots of mistakes.

At this rate, you will be the honoured guest at the festival of hate. You're working hard to keep the eye of hate focused upon you. It's rather late now though to change your ways, isn't it?

Hmmm.... I wonder what's going on with you that you have become so worked up over something that doesn't effect you and clearly makes other people happy. There's enough suffering in the world. Let a little joy leak in occasionally.

I think that they have a much clearer idea of God than most of the Christians spouting religious nonsense on this forum.
