I think school uniforms are a great idea, no matter where you are at. All good reasons.
1) Many people can't afford the latest fads, so a uniform would minimize the difference between the rich kids and the poor kids.
2)It would be easier to dress in the morning, no decisions.
3) Gang colors would no longer be a problem.
4) Fashion would no longer be a distraction in school

Well when I was in elementary school when I lived in Arkansas we had uniforms. They were good in a sense that usually dress code was followed and people all looked a like so there wasn't so much judging. When I moved to middle school I was without uniforms which I liked because I could now feel more comfortable.

I'm against school uniforms anywhere. I'm in NY and 33 yrs old. I think that if everyone had to wear the same thing as everyone else, then it takes away the indiduality of them.

i am for school uniforms in oklahoma texas and kansas but not in arkansas because i have seen too many girls walk around with big old beer guts and a naval that looks like a cave with lint hanging out of it and they just look gross and the ones that dont have a beer gut just go around singing the song 'the united states of whatever' and thats the truth

i think all schools should have uniforms 4 the simple fact some kids just dont have the money to wear the clothes kids like to wear and they r always made fun of dont think i am being smart but i have heard other kids parents talking about kids that aren't fortunate enough to keep up with the jones's
