not like it would ever happen like ths, but if I was caught skinnydipping would your average parents be pissed about it? Like in theory is this something I should ask permission to do? It's just with friends.

Not myself or the other "parents" that I know. Should you ask for permission? That would depend on the parents and the relationship with the kids. Swimming naked can be innocent, harmless fun. Of course, I am assuming that you are only caught swimming naked and not doing anything else.

It all depends on the parents and their personal values. I know whole families who belong to nudist clubs. On the polar end, I know parents who don't like to think of their kids having skin.
You know your folks more than the rest of us.
