My best friend likes me and I' not sure if I like him back because if something happens it could ruin our friendship and he is shorter than me and I'm afraid of getting teased.

This is silly. You may not like someone who is your best fried as a boyfriend because he is too short? How silly. You like him, you do, if you don't, you don't. Who cares that he is shorter? Who cares what other people think. Follow your heart, not the yardstick!

Oh my goodness, such a question. Some of the finest men I have known over the years have been quite short. One, for whom I have the greatest admiration stands no more than five feet-- but well over six feet when he stands astride his intellect.

You will never be happy in life, Miss, if you look to the eyes of others for approval of yourself. Do what you think is right and do not concern yourself with how others regard what you choose.

Give the guy a break. If you like him, and he likes you, a disparity in height will make no difference. Lord, I have to bend down to kiss the top of my wife's head, and we've been married for over 30 years.

If the only reason why you don't like him back is that he is shorter than you...well that is just petty. If you don't care then neither will anyone else. And anyone that teases you isn't your friend and you shouldn't listen to them anyway.

Height shouldn't matter and I should know because my boyfriend is a foot taller than me but I'm eight months older than him but at first people may think it's funny but just don't care about what other people think. That's what me and my boyfriend are doing and we're ok with it.

You're not ready for ANY sort of a relationship if you think about such things. You have to stop being superficial before you can start being a good gf/bf.

we all have things about us that people can make fun of. and if you like this person it should not matter what other people will say. if they see that you are happy then thats all that should matter. people who tease and make fun of other people are iggnorant, and more than likely just jealous, because you have something they don't. heck don't worry about the height, if he treats you right and respects you.then thats all thats important.
