Why would you want to?

Sure, go for it! You can get a little pacifier with a ribbon across part of it that says 'I heart Mommy'. And hey! You should take money out of his allowance to pay for it!

He'll really appreciate it in a few years, and it could be the start of a lifelong collection!

And hey, befoe everyone thinks that this was a serious answer (or even a serious question, for that matter!) and gives me a 'thumbs-down', maybe you should grab a dictinary and look up the words 'sarcasm' and 'joke.'

It's just funny to me that so many people answered this one so seriously!

And by the way, that was a real tattoo that I saw the last time I was at the parlour. It was up on the wall with all the flash, and we joked with the artist about putting it on my son's arm!

A tattoo is for much older people and even then some regret putting on that particular tattoo. What happens if he/she doesn't like theirs and you didn't even give him/her a chance to say yes or no? How are you going to feel just because you think whatever you have in mind is cute right now?
The child could also be allergic to the dyes or infections could set in.
I think you really need to reconsider this idea. I wouldn't dream of putting my child through that pain and all the other possibilities.

No! I doubt that any tattoo parlor would tattoo someone that tiny.
What about the possibility of infection, or allergies to the inks? Or what if the baby grows up and hates the tattoo?

I would not even give that a second thought. No way! Let your child grow up to be a normal child, and have fun with her peers during school. In all actually I don't think even your "peers" will agree with you. Let me ask this? How many do you have on your body? My house cleaner is 19, and has a diamond on her tongue, a diamond on her navel, and one more and you can guesss where. The only way she could get a job here in the South was to take the one out of her mouth during business hours..I am surprised she was hired anyway. In fact I need to call her now to come clean my house!. Rody

like a numbered tattooo on the inside of the right arm? Sicko!!! After all the publicity about the holocaust, how can anyone think its right to make that decision for someone else. What are you some cult freak. You'll never find anyone that's sane or running legal business to do it. Why don't u tatto your government id no. on the kid. That way when he's grown he'll be able to track u down and kill u.

I'm 98% sure you're joking. Why would anyone in their right mind want to give their baby a tattoo? Shouldn't even be legal.

Why would you want to give your child a tattoo? A tattoo is not something you can erase later , its a decision that you have to live with for life. What if your child grows up and hates it ?

noooooooooooo...you risk, infection, hepatitis, and a tattoo is a choice that an adult makes and lives with for the rest of thier life, give your baby that option, they just hate you for having to live with some stupid tattoo that only meant something to you

Why would you want to do that ? Can your baby tell you if he really wants one, and even if he/she can they don't realize that it will always be there. I don't think the ink is good for their delicate skin. I would stick to the wash off ones if the baby is older -like 5 or 6- that's if their even safe nowadays.
