You just need to talk to her and apologize. Just tell her that you weren't trying to be an a**hole and that it just came out wrong. And next time, don't make comments like that to your daughter, especially not in those words. That's very embarrassing. And maybe your wife needs to take her shopping for a padded bra...that usually eliminates the "headlights" problem.

At first I thought you were her Mother, but what the H*!! were you thinking telling your daughter that? God only knows what was going thru her mind after that! I would first apologize for making such a crude comment. You need to explain to her why you said it. Definately use some finesse when you speak to her about it. Actually you may want your wife with you if she feels the same way so you put up a united front on the way your daughter is dressing. Kids don't come with manuals on how to raise them and we all make mistakes. However, a mistake isn't a mistake unless you Learn from it and correct what you did wrong!

I'm not going to get on your case about what you did you've done enough of that to yourself. But I do think you need to get to know more about young girls and what you should and should not say when it comes to things like that. Tell your daughter that you made a mistake and ask her to help you to understand. If you can get to the point that she can feel comfortable talking to you about things without you getting pissed off or embraced that will be the best thing for you and her.

Timing is each little thing. You instructed her at a time that she might want to do no longer some thing about it. It probable embarassed her that her FATHER even pronounced it, in spite of the indisputable fact that it might actually have embarassed her that she now knew that different human beings would see it and he or she had no sweater to hide up with. you ought to have waited till to procure living house. Now that it really is only too previous due for that, tell her you'll opt for to communicate together with her on my own. convey regret to her for making her sense uncomfortable in Taco Bell, you've been only questioning about it and afraid you'll ignore to inform her. enable her recognize that you imagine it really is time for her to start up wearing a bra or wearing a canopy-up if she is going to be someplace that the A/C will be extreme. Ask what she thinks about that. enable her recognize that you recognize she would choose no longer chatting with dad about this, yet you're her father and picture that you 2 must be able to communicate important issues together. possibly you may want to remind her earlier you go away the living house next time. also, i ask your self once you've stated this earlier to her because extremely some females in this technology does no longer recognize what you're speaking about -- they call it being nipped out or some thing like that. Watch what you say and how you say it to youthful females. They get their emotions harm honestly.

I don't know....maybe the next time she will say to you, in the middle of a crowded restaurant or such...."Hey Dad, X-Y-Z",
WHICH IN CASE YOU'RE NOT UP ON THE LATEST PAST LINGO MEANS "XAMINE YOUR ZIPPER!!"
IT WOULD SURELY SERVE YOU RIGHT!!!
You could have handled this matter with alot more tact!!! You should have waited until you got home and either talked to her mom about it and let her deal with it, or if you still felt the need to be the macho dad...at least approach her privately away from other siblings so as to not really embarrass her.
Why were you looking at a young minor girls breasts anyway. You know, they have a name for that.....pedophile and also...incest.

As a girl I know that some things are better handled by the mom. I would suggest that your wife discuss some ways to disguise such things with your daughter.

You know what, "headlights" are not controllable. You were rude and insensitive. Sounds to me like you thought you were being cool and completely blew it. You owe your daughter a huge apology and you need to control your mouth. I'm glad my Dad was not like you, he was a gentleman.

haha...Geez.....if my dad ever said that to me?? OMG. I know U
meant well...and are concerned. But try being a little more
diplomatic, ya know. There is a certain way to talk to your kids
about personal things. So, just apologize to her for saying it the
way you did....she will feel better about you. She will see you as
a human being, and not just a "DAD". Just be a little more..uh..
well, just use different "words"....if you know what I mean? LOL
