BMI's are not as accurate as you think. It does not take the amount of muscle a person has into account. An athlete may be considered obese even though its all muscle. However, BMI's are a good scale for an average person to see where they stand.

the range for males is 17-25 and females are 15-25. You are okay but if you did the BMI manually it might be wrong because muscle mass weighs more than actual fat. If you use a machine then it should be accurate.

I prefer BMI to the scale. A muscular body will weigh more on the scale but will take less space to fill out your clothing. I think that you should take a look at a female athletes body like Amelie Mauresmo or Maria Sharapova. These women have little to no body fat and they are very muscular.

Yes, BMI's are accurate. Nothing wrong with being under weight though, take it as a confidence boost. BMI's are mainly for if you're OVERWEIGHT. Basically, less than 24, you're okay, more than that, eat less.

you are underweight, bmi charts are technically correct, however even though it says you are underweight you may be doing good, it doesnt take into account muscle mass
