well there are many crops but then you didnt mention how much land do u hve .... hve u thought of 'open range' eggs and chickens......u also didnt mention which country u r from....

That really depends on you climate.... There is a LOT involved with being a FDA certified Organic Farmer, at least for commercial sale and profit. I'm not entirely sure of ALL of the guidelines, but it is extremely stringent. I think a good crop mix would include root vegetables like beets, carrots and such, green leaf vegetables and organic herbs have a great market value as well.

I'm not entirely sure as to what the extent of you agricultural background, but farming of any sort is not always the most profitable and is certainly is an arduous line of work. I wish you good luck with what you decide.

If you are in the U.S. check with a county extension agent. You might also consider herbs and/or sprouts while you are at it. There is a growing market for both and some good info on the net.

It probably depends on where you are at. What Zone are you in? What grows well in your area? My favorite is lemons, as some varieties are supposed to bear all year. If you are looking at veggies, if you have a green house you may be able to do any all year if you can keep it warm enough in the winter.

it depends where you are what your rain fall is and how arable your land is. Additionally where will you market and how much do you want to sell?
