if you're asian like your avator is... you can't do anything! Sorry to break it to you....but they're as bad as brazilian dads.......

.. seriously though... as awkward as it may be, you're just gonna have to sit him down one-on-one and talk to him about it. to avoid him interrupting ask him to just listen to everything you have to say....really LISTEN.... take a moment to absorb it, and THEN respond. then when he responds, don't interrupt.... listen...REALLY listen. you may have heard what he'll say a thousand times, but try to understand it and think about it in a new light. ask him for something little... go out with your friends on a saturday AFTERNOON... if he's anything like my dad nightime is pure EVIL in his eyes. just remember BABY STEPS!

Well, there are a lot of unanswered questions here. Is your sister, for instance, an A student while you are a C student? Is she older and able to get her homework done without prodding, while you need constant reminders to keep going and get the job done? You misspelled the word SCHOOL (you said, Skool), so I think you aren't trying hard enough myself. You haven't capitalized every word at the beginning of a sentence, either. You need to study your grammar and English lessons better. Of course, he cares about your education! He wants you to grow up to be a fine, upstanding citizen who will be somebody special someday! If you become a parent, don't you want your children to have a smart parent? Stop complaining. He loves you enough to keep on you to do your best! You are lucky to have a father who cares that much.

You must be the older sister? Try asking your Dad if you could go do something with friends when a certain amount of work is done...bring up your room another time. Resist telling him everything. Tell him that you know he loves you and wants the best for you but that you feel you are working hard and need a break. The idea is to negotiate.

Having noticed your grammar and spelling, how old are you?
Sit down with your Dad and explain to him your feelings. Give him some ideas how you both can agree. Sounds as if you need to prove to your Father that you can handle free time.
Is your sister younger?
The reason your Dad wants you to study, is that he wants his children to excel and have more than he does.
Good luck

I agree with janica...because you definetly need a spelling lesson and another question, do you do well in homework or not? Because that is why he would charge after you, you should do well in schoolwork before you win his approval.

Your dad is thinking of your future, you'll agree with him in time and appreciate what he did for you.
