No, no, no, you have it all wrong. The reason he uses the chimney is because the only safe landing strip for the sleigh is on the roof, and the fastest way down from the roof into the house is the chimney. Now, now one has ever explained to me what he does if the damper is closed or if there is a fire burning in the fireplace. All I ever get is some lame answer like "He is magic" which makes no sense at all because then why would he have to land on the roof? this whole thing has a number of problems and I have yet to get a good resolution to this issue.
