well the best thing i could tell you is that they want the best for their son and they usually are critical about it so my advice is to leave a good impression but if that does not work than i do not know what to tell you

I have the same problem with my BF's sister. Everyone likes me except her but she also seems to be a very influential person in the family. It frustrates me because I didn't do anything to her and she constantly puts me down to my BF and his family. My suggestion is to ride it out, if the guy you're with really wants to be with you then what his family says won't matter and he should defend you at some point I would think. I rode it out with my BF's sister and it's turned out that she can't fight my power, I'm just too nice about it all!!

It could be that they really dont like you cause you dont fit into his space in the world or he has been doing some serious talking with his family and not telling them the truth.

Sooner or later they're going to have to like you. You're dating their son therefore they have to deal with you. Don't let this bring you down and feel bad feel better cause your boyfriend likes you and what his family thinks doesn't matter to him.

Don't pay attention to what they think, as long as you and your boyfriend care about each other that's what matters. Don't listen to what the parents have to say.

Parents tend not to like the girls who are making moves on their sons. I've been through it a million times.

What does your boyfriend say? It can be very hard to fight potential in-laws, but you did not say how serious you are about each other.
