My Solution to the Immigration Crisis?
This plan should be a sensible one to both sides:

1. U.S. citizens do not hate Mexicans, we just feel that a massive influx of illegal Mexicans -65% of all illegals by some estimates-(SO YOU FEEL THAT YOU ARE SPEAKING FOR ALL AMERICANS?) needs to come down to a trickle. 2. A border fence is the only sensible way to slow down illegal entry. 6. Decrease the paperwork and fees associated with legal immigration. I am sorry.... but I really think you should be more specific in the question.
For Instance you say Mexicans instead of undocumented workers or (Illegal aliens). I am mexican born in the us to parents that both are Legal.
And your question is a hard one because at the same time as the illegal aliens are being benefited threw public assistance and other goverment programs.
They also alot of times are mistreated under payed and harder workers than americans.
I know that they know they are taking advantage of the opportunity they have to live and work here. My mother was a private investigater for the goverment of Oregon and her job was to investigate labor camps.
I am in no way agreeing that poeple should live illegally and work illegally. But my point is they work cheaper and harder and living expenses are cheaper for them. So its a tough question. They are taxed in states that have sales tax. Hmmmm...Interesting!
And yes they usually have cheap living situations but are big spenders.

I'm sorry, but the truth is they don't contribute to American Prosperity. They are low wage workers that don't pay taxes and send the money out of the country. If your sending money out of a country you are not contributing to its prosperity. You are basically a parasite. Just take for your own needs. Mexico's second biggest income is money being shipped back home from USA. If your working illegally you don't pay taxes, but recieve free medical care. Also identity thief destroys legal residents credit which they may never recover from. Sorry, but the truth is the truth.

No, I don't.
I'd spend big too if the only tax I had to pay was sales tax. As for hardworking, I'm sure they are. If I were in a country illegally, I'd be working hard at not getting caught and deported. In all seriousness, I'm sure they think they are working towards a future. Too bad they can't understand that the only way they can secure a legitimate future for themselves and their families, is to be legitimate themselves. Same mentality a drug dealer uses when he/she spends their earnings on their family. Illegally gotten funds, no matter how spent, are still illegal, and subject to prosecution. Deport them, and try the process again, legally. If they commit a crime while here illegally, give them instant status to prosecute them as Americans. How about that?!

Most undocumented workers send more to Mexico than they spend here, as I understand it, and meanwhile we pay to educate their children, pay for their health care and other benefits.
