And it FREAKED ME OUT! I watched that alone in the dark in the wee hours, and now I'm SERIOUSLY freaked out by Scientology! If you're going to watch that, then make sure your sound is on to give you the full effect as it did me.

You better hope they don't trace your address from your IP address! Scary ****! No wonder why all of these celebrities keep preaching the good word about scientology. There life is over with one deragatory comment about the cult.

Scientology was started by sci-fi writer L. Ron Hubbard, and evolved from his initial concept of Dianetics. The Scientology religion is based exclusively upon L. Ron Hubbard's research, writings and recorded lectures -- all of which constitute the Scriptures of the religion. These encompass more than 500,000 pages of writings, nearly 3,000 recorded lectures and more than 100 films. He is the only source of the religion, and he has no successor. A fundamental doctrine of the Scientology religion is that spiritual freedom can be attained only if the path outlined in these works is followed without deviation, for it is an intensively researched and workable route.

Scientology denies that salvation comes from God. As their website says: “For instance, although, like the Judeo-Christian religions Scientology affirms the existence of a Supreme Being and places the Supreme Being at the apex of its cosmology, like many Eastern religions, salvation in Scientology is attained through personal spiritual enlightenment.” Also from their website: “Scientology holds man to be basically good, and that his spiritual salvation depends upon himself and his fellows and his attainment of brotherhood with the universe.”

Scientology, like many new religions or those of eastern descent, releases people from personal accountability. They deny the existence of heaven and hell, and they deny the concepts of original sin and salvations by grace. In Scientology (which espouses reincarnation), each person must save himself by ridding himself of destructive memories and experiences that he or she has brought into their current life.

Lisa McPherson died because the criminal negligence of some Scientologists. That's very clear and I'm deeply disturb and shock by this. And I assure you that the people involved were quickly disiplined and the church paid dearly in a following law suit.
The church has a strict policy about not giving treatment to Psichiatric patients because they are so mess up that we can't really help. In order for a Psichiatric patients take Scientology services they have to be out of drugs for a reasonable amount of time and then they can apply for a waiver. But that's up to them to get clean up. Scientology is for the able to get more able not to treat the Psychotic.
Scientology has a strick policy about medical treatment, Auditing is never a replacement for medical treatment. I know that Scientologist in general are not very fond of drugs, a friend of mine had to be convinced to take his antibiotic for an acute infection. If a Scientologist is not taking his medication he is going against church doctrine.
About that poor old lady I don't think the church had a clue of were she was getting her money. I get ads in the mail to refinance my home almost every day. I think that she was so impress with Scientology auditing that she did what she did to get the money to pay for it. It is her money, she can spend it any way she wants it was hers kids that didn't like it.
About operation Snow white and Clambarke that hapened in 1978, the church alleges that it was infiltrated and this individuals were passing this documents from the IRS to Scientology. The church didn't know how they were getting these documents. Later the freedom of information act served Scientology to cleanse the goverment of any false information.
The fair game policy was canceled years ago.
Scientologist are some of the most ethical and moral people there is. And we take full resposability for any wrong doing. But most of these incidents happened years ago. The only incidents that were recent were that Psycho kid that killed his mom and that other kid that killed himself. And a lot of people of many religions have killed them selves and every single kid that has gone in a killing spree in his school has been a Psichiatric patient. So we can hardly be made responsible for their choice.
That video was intensionaly created to shock and is totally bias. That Dutch man died of a Hearth Attack just when he was about to take a shower. Horrible way to die, but what does that has to do with Scientology? That could had hapened in any hotel.
People die of negligence almost everyday in American Hospitals that doesn't mean that hospitals are bad.

Scientology is a cheap rip off of the Church of the Subgenius, but the Scientologists left out 'Bob'. That's how I know they are not the One True Faith.
