While this question demands an admission of guilt it is not fully negative. This question demands of a human being an individual response to the actions of our lives, actions that are often short of what G-d expects of each one of us but also reminds us, as it comes at the close of the creation narrative, that we each are capable of divine creativity and human goodness. It is not merely, "what have you been up to?" but open always to, "Oh mortal, frail human, what will you do now?"
