Seems like I died in the 50's or early 60's. How can I find out who I was? If I do self hypnosis, I can see people and places, but do not recognize them.

Fill a dirty pot or pan with some soap and water then leave it sit over night. Make sure there is some grease build up on the bottom before you let it soak. In the morning dump the soap/water solution out, and the grease that remains will shape the face of who you were in a previous life. I was Mike Ditka!

They say we can use self-hypnosis. Tell yourself a few times
while you're going to sleep that you will dream of a past life. Might
want to give yourself the suggestion you'll wake up right away,
and have some paper handy to write what you remember.
I tried it once and saw two bald dudes in robes. One hiding something in a stone floor. I remebered T and H. Later, I learned there was an Egyptian god THOTH, whose folllowers kept the records in Egypt.
I've got an elemental following me around that a psychic said
has someting to do with an artifact like the Rosetta Stone. That helped them translate Egyptian heiroglyphics.
Everybody thinks I'm full of it!

yes. You can. Just count the Dreams that you frequently used to get. According to Hindu belief, the life cycle re occurs as per the
behaviour and the character of your existing life.
If you behave like a rat you get Rat Form in the next period.
If you are honest and good and so on, you get Human form.
This science is already studied and written, but no proof-theory.
One dies the spirit goes off and body decades, again the spirit
takes form as per its charactertistics....!

Find out who you are in this life would be more serving to the purpose of being here. I believe in past lives, but the power of NOW is where it's at for growth and progress in one's spiritual life.

Go ask a Psychic.
Oh, and once you're there, ask the Psychic how he/she manages to make a living (he/she'll tell you as PT Barnum once said, a fool is born a minute)
And also ask them how come they've NEVER won the lottery.

I am not sure because I do not study this practice but I think it is called past life progression. Ask a hypnotist or maybe a psychic? Maybe one of them can help.

Rather than trying to find out who you MIGHT have been in a "previous life", focus on where you will be in the life hereafter.
