I have a lot of things that I do out of necessity, like stay at a job that I don't want, but pays well.

I saw this thing on the Discovery Health channel about two sisters who have harlequin ichthyosis. Basically, they have to spend about four hours a day scraping off their skin every day (it grows way too fast) and rubbing cream onto it to keep it soft. If they don't, it will suffocate them. I merely have some psoriasis (among other things) and it's a pain, but not like what they have to deal with.
Those girls are so positive and love each other and their families and work hard and don't let their condition get them down. In a way, I'm sorry that they have so much to deal with, but I'm also very inspired to see how well they can do in spite of their condition.
I know it's hard to have difficulties in life, but you just have to remember that sometimes people have trouble that they can't deal with and it destroys them. There are people with no medical care, no money for medical care, no access to medical care, nobody who cares. There are people who have diseases that just make them want to kill themselves. Sometimes they just die--it's too hard for them to deal with. So be glad that you can deal with your problems--it's better for problems to go to people who can handle them, because it's a far greater tragedy when people get problems they can't handle.
Not that it's a particularly cheerful thought, but hey, at least it's honest. Just do what you can and don't worry about everything else--worrying won't make you any more motivated. When I feel overwhelmed and don't even want to get up and bathe and dress and all that morning routine, I just tell myself that I'll be much happier at the end of the day if I do *something*, anything. Anything but let myself stay in bed. Sometimes it works. Just bite off small chunks of your day and do what you can--always remember that something is better than nothing and you should be proud of the effort you've made. Judge your progress by *your* standards--not what you see other people doing. Other people don't have to deal with what you have. So don't be jealous of them or feel inferior. You just do the best you can and that's all anybody could hope for.

I don't have a medical condition though, so I don't know how seriously you'd take my answer.
I deplore doing some things in life. I know that I'm good at one thing, really good at it, and I love it, but then there are all these little things that people call "responsibilities". Yeah, right.
I believe that life is meant to be enjoyed, yet I certainly don't enjoy it as much as I would if I could just spend my time doing what I love....

It sure does make it easier when I invite God along.
There are lots of things I don't want to do; nor feel like. However, it's easier to let myself down than God.
Making God proud is a great feeling reward; plus the bonus of getting whatever it was you didn't want to do - accomplished.
Keep On Truckin'

Keep going, you have the right attitude. I know for me that without God's mercy and grace I would be nowhere. Just claim that "By His stripes, we are healed" and you'll be just fine.
God Bless you.

It's a part of life to have obligations and duties that we don't want to do but must do to have what we want out of life. It's all in perspective.
