Look pretty and wear makeup and nice clothes and so on. I wear ultra elaborate clothes when I want to get noticed, I'm wearing one of those long flowing Indian skirts in lavender and two purple shirts today, and I tied a scarf around my head as a headband for part of the day. I certainly was looked at a lot! (it looked cute, but it was certainly fun to wear) Looking cute and confident is always great. But a really great way is to talk to him, butt into conversations and so on. For example, I dropped a pencil today and I leaned uncomfortably close to this nice kid's lap, and I said "That was awkward, but I bet you're used to that" Just be cute and flirtatious, but remember the line between flirty and promiscuous.

try to get eye contact... if that doesn't work, try to get into his field of vision a lot... and if that still doesn't work, go up and start a small discussion
