Since I am assuming this is an honest question - I will give an honest answer: No you can not buy pet food with food stamps. I have been on food stamps before (due to a temporary circumstance) and we had pets at that time - you are only allowed to buy food products with food stamps.

First of all ,To answer your stupid a## question NO!
Secondly, I'm married and we get food stamps,my husband works and I'm interning at a hospital.we are not cheating the GOVT,he is on my fs case as well as our kids.Some people need extra help getting on their feet and is not lazy.Opinions are like a##holes,everybody has one.Just thank God that you are stable financially enough not to need food stamps.To any one who looks down on us,kiss my a$$.Judgment is for God!

No but they can sell their foodstamps 50 cents on the dollar then buy their pets gourmet pet food!!

actully the way people done put animals on a pedistal they should have something for pets since they are apart of the family they should have doggy coupons good idea but not available yet

no they dont. they have to be fed the same food as humans some times it is hard and the aniamals have to fend for themselfs. the food stamps are only for food.

Nope! They sure don't. I'd be pretty pissed off if they did. I'm kind of pissed that people on food stamps have pets....they should be spending their money more wisely.
