Terry bikes are the best high performance bikes for women because they are designed with a woman's body frame in mind.

None of the other bicycle manufacturers do this to the same extent

Terry bikes are designed by a woman for women. Because women have proportionally longer legs and shorter torsos, a traditionally made bike would end up with the a large amount of front tire overlap with the foot and several other problems. Terry tackled these problems by using a geometry with a smaller front wheel size. My opinion: ugly, very ugly. But women love it. Plus you'd have to carry spares for 2 different size tires.

Many brands now carry women-specific models. Orbea, Trek, Specialized and Cannondale are some of the more popular ones. There are also custom builders like Seven, Luna, Litespeed (a lady in my club had a bike built copying Terry geometry, ugliest Litespeed I've seen) and many more.

Is that so? I think there are many great bikes for women, and I doubt that only one is the 'best'. I think that many builders really think in a women when designing a bike and different components to go with it.

Even then, WSD are great for some women, for other women a 'standard' design bike is better.

Each body is different, so it's just plain impossible to say that one brand or model is the 'best'. You can say it's very good, but the best is very subjective.
