Like a few minutes after he gets through eating he will throw his food up (chunks)?

He's probably eating too fast. Slow it down for him by hand feeding him small amounts at a time. Wait a minute between each handful. It'll help. This happens mostly in puppies. We had to do this with my lab for a while until she finally realized we're not taking the food from her and she'll get fed again tomorrow.

I have two dogs-one will chew each and every chunk of food, the other pretty much inhales his. There's not much you can do. I wish they'd make food in really big chunks so the dogs are forced to chew them. I once saw a dog bowl that had these cones built into it that supposedly slow the dog way down when he eats.

It sounds like he might be eating too fast, here is two suggestions to try. Add a bit of warm water to his food and wait a minute before you give it to him. Dog Food swells up when water is added, and it will make it softer for him. Might help him to not vomit it up.

Another suggestion, (not sure how big your dog is...) try adding a ball or something like it to the bowl. It will help slow him down and perhaps force him to chew his food a bit.

I hope that helps :)

That does not have to do with chewing. Dogs don't have molars in order to chew their food.

Dogs can throw up whenever they want/need to, so maybe there is something going on. This may be a problem that requires vet treatment.

maybe your dog is allergic to the food or if it's a new brand it could just take some time for the dog to get used to it. I'd ask your vet for better answers. good luck

If you really care, chew the food for it.
You could also try changing the food you are using.Of course, there is always the Vet. You know, the Dr. for dogs.
