any advice on how to make things easier?

Because we're girls, we're complex and have so many layers. Guys soak into our skins and when we go through breakups, it takes a while to get the guys out from us. They're completely soaked into our hearts and minds and time and distraction heals us. Guys are just simple minded and simple built. A girl breaks up with a guy, it doesn't last nearly as long. Guy breaks up with a girl, we have tough luck. All we can do is relive our best memories with that guy and then let them go. It sounds like you're going through a tough time. Best of luck to you.

If you broke up with him something deep inside you knows that it was not good for you. However, you are a fighter and want to work things out because that is a reflection that on some level you were not good enough for him. When in fact, it probably is that you two were just not good for each other. As women we take on waaay too much of the responsibility of making it work. Get over it. Cry, ywll scream, eat a pint of ice cream, give yourself a good evening or two if you want to drag it out, and then get up and meet friends at places that you enjoy. That way you know you are not going to be dragging them to events you like. They are already there so they must like it too. That is a good start. Since it didn't work, remain as friends, wish him well and move on. Don't count it as a lost, count it as a new friend and say goodbye. If he was crazy or abusive, just let him go period. Be ready as a woman when that great man does come your way and know that you deserve a great man because you are a great woman.

Its always hard because you had feelings for this person and now that the excitment is over you feel like everything is gone. It just takes time to get over.

cause you grew to be around him and you loved/liked him. its exactly like when you have a puppy you have to give away and get over it or you will hurt yourself. you grow to care and love the puppy, so you wont want to leave him cause youll miss it. hope i help!
