You said your grade depends on it, so keep thinking of your grade whenever you feel like flaring up.

And although this is not good, try to make a funny scene out of anyone in your thoughts or make funny side comments (just make sure only you can hear them or a friend who will take these as jokes and not as pranks), just to keep yourself in a light mood all throughout your hospitality class.

Try to wear a smile. You will notice that when somebody else smiles back at you, you will feel good for a time. If people keep smiling back at you then you will feel good for a longer time.

Good luck!

LMAO...I was that girl. And believe it or not I thought I'd never be the one to wait tables. I imagined myself telling the customers to get their own damn food. BUT once I started...I found myself a good waitress...mainly cause I wanted to be done with the customers so my service was faster than most...lol so I got good tips, which kept me in a better mood. Otherwise, when someone pisses you off, it's best to "use the bathroom" to blow of some steam and take a minute. Or if they're real assholes then you just take your sweet time bringing them their stuff. It's all depends on the customers.

Whenever you get temper, say to yourself "I need my grades" and just count 1 to 10 numbers in your mind. If you don't have that much time, count to 5.

I work retail. You can try counting to 10, but sometimes a shot before work helps. Unless you get angrier when drunk...then no. Anywho, best of luck tomorrow!!!

Just remember to keep your eyes on the prize... the prize being a passing grade.

How important is the grade you get? That is the real question. Think about that when some jerk irritates you.

Just remember your grade depends on it.

I would probably take a shot of liquor beforehand...that may help you keep your temper. In my speech class I would take 2 shots prior to any speech, and guess what...aced it!

Smile and always be courteous. Practice the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.'
