this dude i like, he's hispanic like me:) Was in a summer school class with me and I think he liked me. He'd always pick up my paper if it fell, he'd say excuse me, he'd smile and look at me, pure gentleman. He was so cute too! But no one thought so either like I did. Now I found out that he goes to my school! Should I ask him out?
PS- He's one year older.

He'd also always do those nice things to me only.

Of course you should. He doesnt seem like one of those guys that would reject you. As you said, he smiles to you, picks up your paper, very respectful and quite a gentlemen. He seems like a nice and honest person and if you wanted to talk to him, he would sit with you and talk and listen to you. He seems like one of those nice guys that want a nice girl like you. And it is totally normal if a guy is 1 year older than you, most girls like that, they feel secure and they don't feel like they are dating a immature guy. Good luck

I'd say you should make friends with him first. Once you've become friends, it will be easier for you or him to invite for a date. That way too, you can find out if he does like you. Sometimes, when a guy does nice stuff for a girl doesn't necessarily means he likes you. Rather than being rejected, I'd suggest you guys be friends first before making the next move. Good luck!

It would be a bit risky to ask him out after only seeing him in summer school. You might scare him off or make him think you're desperate. Since he goes to your school, dont be nervous to go up to him and start chatting like you have always known eachother. Once you've become acquainted with one another, throw in some flirting and flattery! Best of luck!

How is this guy trouble? This is ordinary 'day in the life' of adolescence. You don't need any advice. You are just afraid to take chances.

Live a little. Go have lunch together. Visit the library together. Sit with him at the football game ... you have so much opportunity. I chuckle at how simple you have it at this point.

Take the chance. You learn by doing.

Being one year older is not a big deal. It sounds like he was just being polite, so you don't really if he likes you but go on and ask take a chance life is too short.

Talk to him and find out if he likes you, if he does, then let him know that you feel the same way, and ask him out to the movies or something.

Why not? He'd probably fall over himself with joy if you asked him out.

Go up to him and say "Hey I haven't seen in since summer school. How have you been?'

That should start up the conversation.
