My answer is:
It means: Cheap and meaningless
"No strings attached" is just a passport to have sexual fun without committment... It may seem like a cool thing right now, but someday it will feel empty and you'll wish you hadn't.
And if it's with the same person al the time... it's possible that one will acquire feelings.... and then it becomes painful when it isn't returned...
Cheap and meaningless is what was agreed to...don't expect anything more than that.

No strings attached usually means that the person wants pure physical meaningless sex. It means "I want to spend a night with you but don't want to have to call you or be responsible for dating you"

It means that someone is looking for a relationship with somebody only for fun and sex, but that somebody must be openminded and not fall in love and start drama when the brakeup happens, ask for marriage or anything like that.
