Well first take your medication. My husband take Claritin but I like the prescription Zyrtec myself. Remember that it is not he fur you are allergic to but the dander most often. Male cats have more dander than females. If your wife brushes her cats everyday, that should eliminate most of the dander. It may help to get one of those air purifiers as well, something with a good filter. Good luck with that. If your allergies are still bad, your wife should consider finding her kitties a new home or keeping them in their own room. It is not fair for to let you suffer.

Allergy Shots and allergy medication. Air purifiers will help too. Keep the cat out of the bedroom. Vacuum carpet every day.
Good Luck.

Get a patatoe sack and a couple of large rocks. Place both cats in the potatoe sack along with the rocks. There is no need for mixing but it doesn't hurt either. Tie the opening of the potatoe sack into a knot and find a medium to large size body of water. Place Potatoe sack with contents inside in water. Further you place the potatoe sack in the water, the less chance of evidence coming back to burn your ***. Return to cat free home and make passionate love to woman.

Ask your wife why she thinks your suffering is less important than her own need to have cats around her. She sounds really insensitive to your problem.
It's your house too, and she's consciously creating a health problem for you. That is not the action of a loving wife in my opinion.

you could get rid of the cats or find somewhere else for them to go. You could go somewhere else or find a way to live together. I take allergey shots for my cat allergey, I've also delt with different allergey pills. I have found on the whole the longer I live with the cat the better my allergies are.
Good luck

Since your wife seems to think her cats are more important than your well being -- your path is clear.
