feeling too out of shape and non-flexible. that makes people not want to take the class b/c everyone else will be more advanced. I think that weight can be an issue too. I am a big girl and love yoga. I am very flexible and pretty fit but I know all of my bigger friends feel that yoga is a no-no if you are not a size 4.

Last time I was invited to go to a yoga class for free I had to work. Funny how a job works that way.

I have a personal preference for the Iyengar style of yoga, so I'm a little reluctant to try out yoga classes in other styles.

I'm not a very flexible person. I have loose ligaments but when it comes to stretches, I don't really do well.

So because of that, I'd feel pretty dumb trying to do all those weird positions and probably failing 90% of the time.
