i am fasting for ramadan for a couple of days & I am having gastric/chest pains, is it because I am not eating properly now? I started having the pains from after ramadan. what shud i do?

Yes, you need to make sure that you are drinking plenty of water.
The pain is due to a gas pressure. Why don't you do a fruit fast?

Hi Penny, sounds like heartburn from fast food. Its hard but try to stay away from that type food for maybe a month. If pain continues see a Dr. Never forget heart trouble hit young kids, I read today that kids young as 11 an 12 have had heart attacks. I had lots chest pain in 2005, wound up haveing a 7 way heart bypass. Be safe see your Dr. ok? Jim

It sounds like gas....your belly is mad at you. Your stomach acids are the cause...maybe you can take something.
