My sister put in a barrett each side of my head to keep loose hairs in a ponytail but now I can't get them off. She's gone out and I have friends coming around later. How do I get them off? They just keep pulling at all my hair and don't seem to come apart?

Hard to explain but hear goes. Use your thumb and forefinger and squeeze either underneath or on top depending on which way the barrette was made. Get in a mirror also. All else fails I am more that sure one of your friends can help u out. Don't want to contact sis on cell. Good luck.

Well I don't know how you can't get barretts out, but maybe they are the kind of barretts that you have to squeeze the two sides at the same time to make the barrett open.

lol, poor you. victim of your sister's hair frenzy.

well, most barretts can snap. some of them are, like, just a single piece, but others actually have a hinge.

maybe you could ask your parents to help you.

good luck =P
