She is all nice and stuff when my sister or company is around but when it's just me and her at home she yells at me and never stops being in a bad mood. She'll find anything to yell about.

Just now she yelled at me because I didn't eat a cheesestring and how it was going rotten but it's only been there since i got home from school.

I feel like I'm trapped and there's no way for her to ever stop yelling at me.

If you truly feel that she is verbally/emotionally abusing you then you need to talk someone, either at school or in your family.
If you can, try to have a calm conversation with her and ask her why she treats you the way she does. Ask her if she just doesn't like you anymore & see how she reacts to that. You can love someone, but not like them.
Record her yelling when she doesn't know you're doing it & let her hear herself.

I remember when I was growing up, I told everyone my mom yelled at me all the time. Well, I finally owned up to the realization that every time she opened her mouth to say anything to me...I called it yelling. It wasn't that I was being over sensitive....I was just a teenager.
Luckily, as I outgrew my teens, and moved out of the house (which I did when I was 16, cause I got married the first time)
(I'm on my 3rd marriage now) but I saw the same thing when my two daughters were growing up (they are now ages 25 and 30; married, both w/ kids) and surprise!surprise! I hear it now from my grand kids!!!
I guess what goes around comes around.
If you can't come out and talk to mom directly...write her a note and leave it on the kitchen table or somewhere where she will see it after you leave for school. Tell her how you feel and ask her if you have done something to upset her...on a regular basis.
Maybe she is going through alot of personal issues and she just doesn't know how to deal with them. Are there other siblings in the house? Does she yell at them also?
I hope things get better soon. Good Luck Honey!!

I suggest that if this keeps on going for a while and gets more intense that u tell an adult freind or maybe the police if things get more intense and more physical. But maybe something emotionally bothers her.Try to give it time and try to withstand her a bit and with that stand try to know the reason for the yelling.Remember though if things get out of control don't just keep it to yourself.Tell someone,a close friend or family member.Hope this was useful.=~)

My mom is a b*tcher too!! When I still lived at home I spent a lot of time with friends. She hated her life and liked to take it out on me. I went to therapy and she would refuse to come so nothing ever got resolved. Maybe your mom will be different and she'll let you tell her how you feel. Good luck to you.

How long was it sitting around? Pick up after yourself! Who leaves "Cheese" laying around? Quit complaining, and stop being lazy!

Talk to someone at your school and try to find a way to stop this. Your mother is giving you verbal abuse.

ARE YOU GOING TO EAT THAT CHEESE STRING OR AM I GOING TO MAKE YOU WEAR IT!?

Sorry, mom needs medication. Call the police and have her arrested for sexual assault.
