I think religion is superstitious while science and evolution seems more logical to me.

Does that make me an Atheist? I don't exactly know the definition of an Atheist.

I'm not here to offend anyone, by the way.

I respect all your beliefs.

Lol, "Gluon", I absolutely do not think of "evolution" as some sort of deity, where'd you get that idea from?

Your thinking at all religions are superstitions puts you well in the general territory of agnostic/atheist beliefs.

I believe the God of the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament) is as mythical as Zeus. That makes me an atheist in the eyes of Jews, Christians, and Muslims.

But I'm still open to the possibility of a supreme intelligence. I'm skeptical, because I don't think that believing that a supreme intelligence created the universe helps much, since it just leaves a bigger question: where did the S.I. come from? But I think it makes more sense to say I am agnostic with repect to the possibility of an S.I.

An atheist is a person who does not believe that there is a God. Although you did not ask this question, I'll give you the definition of an agnostic. That's someone who is not sure whether or not there is a God.
I think some people get these two words mixed up.

That depends. The real identifier of an atheist is someone who does not believe in a divinity of any kind. No gods or spiritual forces. An Agnostic is somewhat less certain, believing that the existence of a divine being is not in any way provable and therefore are neutral on the subject. Theists, naturally, do believe in divinities...whether monotheism or polytheism or something else entirely.

From Dictionary.com
Atheist-
a person who denies or disbelieves the existence of a supreme being or beings.

Agnostic
1. a person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as God, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience.
2. a person who denies or doubts the possibility of ultimate knowledge in some area of study.
–adjective 3. of or pertaining to agnostics or agnosticism.
4. asserting the uncertainty of all claims to knowledge.

Not to confuse you but there can be Agnostic atheists and agnostic Deists(Someone who believes in a god, ie Christians).

So you need to decide if 1) you believe in the existence of a deity, and 2 how you feel about having knowledge of your decision.

Do you believe in a God or Gods? If you said "absolutely not" then you're an atheist. If you said "I don't know" you're an agnostic. If you said "of course" you're a theist.
