We buy billions of dollars of oil from Saudia Arabia every year. They have a state church that says the nastiest things about America. They say things like America men all sleep with their sisters and mothers.

We are buying them off to not do something that we want the to not do.. We are trying to intice Iran into giving up nukes by buying them off or giving them favors in other areas.
At least we know where our tax money goes..

The reality is that this money is not given but the USA is buying something from these countries

It's called compromise, we get them dependant on our money, then we have a say on some of the things they do. Such as the price of oil.
