No. We got past this kind of "centre of the universe" worldview several hundred years ago, when science showed that the sun does not go round the Earth. The universe exists, and we're an accidental product of it - There's no reason to think that the universe exists *in order* for us to exist.

The universe is a manifestation of love abiding.

God made the whole world and everything in it. He made the moon, sun, and stars; and all the other stuff we don’t directly see (black holes, comets, galaxies, & universe). God is love. Love could not be contained, so the love over flowed and out of love came the Holy Sprit, then Jesus. God then said, “Let there be light” because he loved us (all) so much. He made water, land, and gave plants & animals; this can even be through evolution … but it was God’s love abiding that formed evolution. We were even made in God’s image. Then the evil one rejected mankind and was banished from heaven … causing him to tempt mankind there after.

Jesus repaired bad stuff we did when we went astray and took the evil one’s bait. He was crucified and gave us his “Body & Blood” so that we could eat it and be nourished with God (who is love) thereby becoming part of the body of Christ. Some astronomical philosophers do say that it is possible that the Universe makes up one individual omnipotent being (whom I call God). So, the Universe then is the culmination of love (which is God).

What makes you think that the Universe was created for us? Could it not be just as logical to think that we exist because the Universe exist? With out it we are nothing. The universe could surly exist with out us, but we could not exist with out it.
