You can put rubbing alcohol on your face, but I have not found it to work well. I reccomend using a gentle cleanser like Neutrogena followed by 2.5% Benzoyl peroxide cream or gel and lotion to follow. You think you don't need lotion right, because your skin is already oily, but if you dry your skin out too much, your body will supplement by creating more oil. I've had acne my entire life and this is the best combination I've found over the counter or from a dermatologist. acne.org is a great site with details on the regimen.

I've been using it for years as an after shave lotion to help the healing of irritation of shaving and I have not had any problems. It should help to dry up those ugly pimples. Just try it and see if it works on you.

Ive used it before, just make sure to moisturize in between uses or it'll get dry and peely when the pimple goes away.

I use Isoproyl as shaving Lotion when I get done shaving my face. It is fine to use on your skin, but just don't get it in your eyes!!!
