I run a 2002 Altima V6 3.5SE. I seem to have some engines problems since the last few weeks. First off, the ABS, Slip and Traction off lights used to come on sporadically when I applied the brakes. Sometimes they stayed on until the engine was shut off. Sometime, the slip light is coming and the engine seems to have a misfire (?). Also, the car seemed harder on gaz. My dealer doesn't seems to know what is going on. I've changed the 6 ignition coils, with the spark plugs and noticed that one coil was sitting in the oil. So, I've also changed the valve cover gasket and the valve cover itself. Everything when well for a few days but now the slip light is coming on and off, in no particular partern. The ABS and traction off lights seems to have been corrected. The engine seems to misfire again. Would you have any ideas? Thanks,

Several things can cause the slip light abs light ground at the right fender is one of them, low Brake fluid more common and shorted brake light bulb. I take it you use the reccomended premium gasoline. All 3.5 owners don't admit to using regular. Use the good stuff!! Did you replace one front tire recently? different size front tires worn and new may make the computer think slip. Different size tire or brand anywhere get down and look make sure. Run a couple tanks of good gasoline with TECRON added Black bottle at the auto parts store. Next time into the dealer have the steering angle sensor reset to 0 straight ahead. that sometimes helps. Does the car track steering wheel level straight ahead? Also have then run all the diagnostic control unit codes and CAN codes as well report back please
