Thats a hard question. There are many solutions but what is the right one for you. One thing I do is always think positive. There is a silver lining in every situation. Even though it doesn't seem like it. If we think positive it helps us to feel better about the problem. Another problem might be you are not happy with yourself. Set done and write out all the things you would like to change about yourself. Then begin changing them. Only you can do it. You sound like you are very smart. I'm glad you do a lot of different things. Another way to cheer yourself up is to cheer someone else up. Like visit old friends and family member you haven't seen in awhile. Or call them, there is a lot of lonely people out there, young and old. By cheering them up you will be happy to. Help the elderly with little chores they can't do. Offer to do it for them. If baking makes you happy, bake a lemon cake or some cookies. This always cheers me up. Share them with someone like a friend or family member. Offer to do volunteer work for any place that help the needy. Another thing that might cheer you up is to think of all the good things in your life. Remember think positive this will help you a lot! Take care! Hugs! Von

No one is happy all the time darlin and really it would be an unnatural state if we were. Things happen in our lives that can leave us devastated such as the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, divorce or our own illness. It's in how we deal with such losses that makes the difference and in the end makes us much stronger people..and in turn able to help other people more effectively because we have been down the same emotional road.

You cannot be happy no matter what. Instead, try making a conscious effort to be happy despite your current situation and circumstances. Life gets better, but it takes effort on your part to make it better.

Happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy or not. It's as simple as that. You don't have to be doing things to be happy. You can choose to be miserable about things, or you can choose to not let them affect you and just be happy.
